Actress Lindsay Lohan has endorsed Mitt Romney for president, she told E! News.
The actress said one issue in particular is influencing her vote.
“I just think employment is really important right now,” Lohan said. “So, as of now, Mitt Romney. As of now.”
Lohan said “It’s a long story” when pressed on about the endorsement.
The starlet previously supported President Obama in 2008 and even offered her services to campaign and volunteer for him. However, an unnamed source from the Obama campaign told the media that Lohan was “not exactly the kind of high-profile star who would be a positive for us” and told her “thanks, but no thanks” for the offer.
In the last few months, Lohan has tweeted at President Obama multiple times and asked him to “cut taxes for those who need it: middle-class families, small businesses” as well as “those that are listed on Forbes as ‘millionaires’.”
