3rd UPDATE: Rocker Jon Bon Jovi, music legend Stevie Wonder and singer/actress Jennifer Hudson have also signed on to perform at the concert, according to Deadline Hollywood.
2nd UPDATE: Deadline Hollywood confirms that Earth, Wind & Fire will also be performing at the event. Harvey Weinstein is also on the radar for the dinner with Jeffrey Katzenberg. The dinner will be held at Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill.
UPDATE: Pop singer Katy Perry is set to headline the concert, according to THR. The singer has signed on to perform at the event. More performers are still in negotiations for the “30 days of Victory Concert,” with all funds raised going to the Obama campaign.

President Obama will hit up one of his most popular money banks on Oct. 7. The Commander-in-Chief will be in Los Angeles for a fundraiser and concert at the Nokia Theater, according to THR.
“The exact details for the concert are still being confirmed, but this will be a large scale event with multiple performers and speakers preceding the President’s remarks,” according to an email sent to Los Angeles donors Thursday. “As we begin to confirm the talent and details, we will make the information known to all of you.”
The Reporter writes that Obama will also attend a ritzy dinner – $40,000 per couple- in downtown Los Angeles.
The Reporter also noted that sources are saying Dreamworks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg will be hosting the dinner.
Tickets for the concert are:
$44 per person – Gen44 (Young Professionals, limited availability)
$250 per person – General Admission
$1,000 per person – General Admission, better seating
$5,000 per person – VIP access (to lounge area and preferred seating)
$10,000 per person – Photo and VIP access.
