The Obama campaign has tapped another celebrity to help the president bring in cash.
The Obama campaign has strategically used its Hollywood supporters to raise money for the campaign. At first it was a raffle for a chance to attend a dinner at George Clooney’s house. Then it was a raffle for a chance to attend a dinner at Sarah Jessica Parker’s house.
Tickets to the event where Obama is set to speak and Anthony to perform, start at $100, but a donation in the $2,500 to $44,000 range not only gets better seats but also a “meet and greet” with Obama and the Grammy Award-winning musician and actor.
The campaign recently tapped the singer to record a video for the campaign to reach out to Latino voters.
